While men’s clothing is littered with pockets of all shapes and sizes, women have to carry bags and purses around with them to ensure they have everything they need. After all, where else are they going to put these items? In their non-existent pockets? When it came to this woman’s wedding day, she decided to take this matter into her own hands.

However, to truly understand this amazing story, we need to learn a little more about the bride. Eve Paterson became a viral name in January 2019 when she pictures of her wedding day were posted on social media. While those on the internet cooed over the venue and the table decorations, it was the wedding and bridesmaid dresses that really stood out from the crowd. That’s because Eve made sure that she and her bridesmaids were well equipped on her big day, and had all of the pockets they would need.

Not For Women

The English bride noted that she felt irritated and confused when she went to buy the dresses for her wedding. When her husband and her groomsmen went to hire their suits, they would never have expected to have an “add pockets” option as an extra. Men’s clothing and suits always come with pockets, but it has never been that way for women. Dresses and skirts almost always come without pockets, and Eve didn’t think that was fair. More than anything, it’s impractical.

So, when Eve bought her dresses, she made sure to ask for them to be altered. She wanted them all to have pockets because women deserve to look good and be practically equipped at the same time. At the moment, Eve notes that women have the option of being one of the other, but rarely both. To make her wedding dress even more special, she had a piece of fabric from her mother’s wedding dress stitched to the inside of her pocket, which was later filled with snacks, lipstick, and her phone.

Eve is a genius for adding pockets to her wedding dress, but should she really have had to ask? We say pockets for all!

When you get sick, though it is an internal condition, often many symptoms are seen on the outside. For example, puffy eyes, a red nose, and a sickly pallor. When we are in a state like this, we often turn to our loving moms for affection and support.

So, we understand why this girl sent her mom that sick selfie as she was definitely seeking some sympathy. But instead, what her mom responded was pretty cold-hearted. Who wants to put on makeup and look glamorous when you’re feeling ill?

Every house has its rules. These rules can involve cleaning and cooking tasks. These chores are put in place by the parents so that we all learn that there are social norms that we are expected to abide by (and they’re not always fun).

Hearing kids complain about their chores is really nothing new, but hearing a parent clap back is something we don’t like to miss. We have to give it to this mom for her sharp wit.

There are a lot of things said but not really meant in the heat of an argument. So, when we saw this stingy comeback that this mother had installed for her whining son, we placed it in the “I didn’t mean that” box.

However, truth be told, we’re having doubts about this one. This savage mom may have just meant to say exactly that. The kid must have felt like trash after – get it? We don’t mean to be insensitive but we couldn’t resist it.

You know, if you have the joy in your heart, one of the ways to show this is through song. This is why it’s common in religious places like churches to sing along. Even if you don’t sound like Adele or Celine Dion, there’s still a power to bolting out your emotions.

However, this mom sees it differently and truly believes that not even the big guy upstairs wants to hear her kid’s singing. That is beyond S-A-V-A-G-E. This mom ought to repent and luckily she’s in the right place to do it.
