While many of us dream about the perfect wedding, it looked as though this devastated bride was about to cancel her wedding just two days before – all thanks to finding her fiancé’s dating profile!
Setting The Scene
Matt and Tania were both 35 and had been dating for seven years before they decided to tie the knot. Apparently, they were both sick of people asking when they were going to get married, so they decided to give in. Although there were a few pre-wedding fights, Tania never expected to learn about Matt’s hidden secret.
A Big Announcement
Tania had hyped herself up for the big day. However, that was all about to change just two days before the ceremony as her friend Anne had some major news. The pair went into the church grounds where Anne showed Tania her phone. There is was: a shirtless photo of Matt wearing sunglasses on his dating profile.
Canceling The Wedding
The bride couldn’t believe what she was seeing and immediately called off the wedding before moving into her parent’s house. However, Matt didn’t seem too fussed about the secret. Apparently, the groom didn’t fight to keep his bride, and even agreed to email the guests explaining the real reason their big day had now been canceled.
It seems as though Matt wasted no time in finding someone to fill Tania’s shoes as his ex states it wasn’t long before he began to date other women seriously. This bride admits that she is just grateful that Anne showed her the truth about her fiancé before she made it down the aisle; otherwise, she could have been in for a whole world of heartbreak.
Looking To The Future
Although Tania had chosen her perfect wedding dress, she was determined that it should still see out its ideal destiny. She might have had no plans of wearing it herself, but Tania wanted to make another bride’s dreams come true so donated the gown to a thrift store. Now, someone could treat themselves to a brand new dress that never made it to the church.
Although it seemed as though Tania’s world was about to come crashing down, this bride appears to have moved on from what could have been the biggest mistake of her life.
