Bora Bora, French Polynesia

5 of the Most Worthwhile Honeymoon Destinations in 2020

With picturesque mountains, crystal-clear waters, and a coral reef swirling with colorful fish, there is no other place like this! No wonder this place was voted one of the best islands in the world by US News and World Report. There’s a lot more to Ibiza than the infamously wild all-night parties. Just a few miles from the throbbing city center, newlyweds will find lush forests, sleepy hill villages, hippie-chic farmhouses, and rolling orchards perfect for couples looking for a little R&R. Couples who have been almost everywhere and are now wondering what is even left to explore on their honeymoon should consider Myanmar. 13 Times Stunt Doubles Had To Fill In For Lead Actors

Stunt doubles surely come in handy when it comes to performing risky scenes, but their work often goes unrecognized. Here are dare-devil stunt doubles who needed to fill in for A-list celebrities.

Jennifer Aniston

What didn’t happen in the comedy film We’re The Millers? The answer is – nothing – and it’s a relief that Jennifer and Jason had some stunt doubles to step in for them during the more outrageous scenes. With gorgeous facial features and a to-die-for figure, there’s certainly no matching up to queen Aniston. However, when faced with the prospect of performing dangerous stunts in her underwear, Jennifer allowed a stunt double to temporarily replace her for those “heated” scenes.

Jennifer Aniston

Brad Pitt

Although Brad Pitt played Leonardo DiCaprio’s stunt double in the latest hit feature, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, Pitt has needed a stunt double of his own. Phil Ball filled in as Brad Pitt’s stunt double. Phil described his experience being the body double for the movie World War Z as “strange and boring.” Speaking of strange, we noticed that Phil is oddly attached to his arm hair because he tweeted while filming, “Just when I thought my day job couldn’t get any more bizarre, I’m made to shave my hands.”

Brad Pitt

Chris Hemsworth

Thor’s stunt double resembles Hemsworth so much, we can’t figure out who is who. It’s hard for an average guy to achieve the godly physique of Chris, but for Bobby Holland Hanton, it’s supposedly a piece of cake. Or should I say sandwich?

Chris Hemsworth

Rebel Wilson

Although Rebel is, well, a rebel, there were still certain parts from her comedy film, Isn’t it Romantic, that required a stuntwoman to step onto the set. Born in Australia, Rebel trained at the Australian Theatre for Young People and later continued her studies at Second City in the U.S. Following a successful stage and TV career in her hometown, she started getting involved in acting in American featured films such as Bridesmaids and Pitch Perfect.

Rebel Wilson

Angelina Jolie

Stunt doubling is pretty much a hobby for Eunice Huthart. If you recall the hit movie, Salt, it might interest you to know that Huthart was Angelina Jolie’s almighty stunt double. Although the popular stigma claims body-doubling to be all about being physically strong, Janene claims otherwise, explaining, “If the actress is leaner than you, then you know you have to drop some weight. When I was doubling for Angelina Jolie on Salt, I was hungry for three months! Actresses also have to drop weight for their roles, too. It’s part of the business.”

Angelina Jolie

Mark Wahlberg

Mark Wahlberg’s stunt double looks older and a little plumper than the actor, which has us wondering how exactly he got cast to the Ted 2 film. A sequel to the first Ted movie, this epic comedy movie was directed and written by Seth MacFarlane and follows a talking teddy bear who is fighting for his civil rights in order to be recognized as a human. The plot may sound uber-ridiculous, but it surely rolled in a lot of laughter, not to mention dollars.

Mark Wahlberg

Mark Ruffalo

This photo was snapped backstage of the film set for Now You See Me 2. On the right is Mark Ruffalo and to the left is Anthony Molinari, a stunt artist who doubled as the actor. Molinari has spent the past 10 years performing as a stuntman and coordinator in over 100 TV shows and movies. After playing the key role in Emmy Award-winning series, E-Ring, Anthony went on to receive trophies such as the Screen Actors Guild Award and the Taurus World Stunt Award Taurus World Stunt Award for Hardest Hit and Best High Work.

Mark Ruffalo

Megan Fox

Megan Fox’s brave stuntwoman, Stacey Carino, is a pro at daredevil risky stunts. She even reported breaking her neck and only discovering it years later after undergoing on x-ray for a completely different problem. She reported, “I know exactly when I did that, but I didn’t realize it was broken. I thought you were paralyzed when you broke your neck!” Stacey admitted that Megan occasionally does her own stunts and can handle a little falling and jumping here and there.

Megan Fox

Cameron Diaz

Knight and Day had some pretty intense scenes that required body double intervention. For the particularly challenging scenes, Cameron Diaz was replaced with stuntwoman Kimberly Shannon Murphy, who is Hollywood’s go-to stunt double for big silver screen actresses. This lady’s resume is packed with top box-office films including The Lone Ranger, Jack Reacher, Oblivion, The Hunger Games, Men in Black 3, Savages, and the list goes on. Here, we spot Cameron Diaz having some fun with her lookalike on the set of her movie Knight and Day in Seville, Spain.

Cameron Diaz

Natalie Portman

Natalie Portman’s stuntwoman, Sarah Lane, has become the source of some controversy in regards to the film Black Swan. Sarah claimed that there was a coverup about Portman doing most of the dancing scenes, but the producers stood behind Natalie. Lane claimed, “Of the full body shots, I would say 5 percent are Natalie. All the other shots are me. The shots that are just her face with arms, those shots are definitely Natalie. But that doesn’t show the actual dancing.”

Natalie Portman

Uma Thurman

Originally from New Zealand, Zoe Bell is the lady who played the stunt double for Uma Thurman in Kill Bill volumes one and two. Because the director loved Bell’s work so much, he asked her to star in the movie, Death Proof, which not so ironically, centers on a stuntman. In an interview, Bell said, “I’ve physically kicked so many men’s asses and I can totally feel proud of that. But what I’m recognizing with age is my vulnerability is a source of strength, which seems so ironic…”

Uma Thurman

Reese Witherspoon

Reese Witherspoon coupled up with gorgeous Sofia Vergara to create the hilarious 2015 comedy, Hot Pursuit, which literally had America peeing in their pants from laughter. While portraying a police officer, Reese needed a stuntwoman to take over for the more violent movie scenes, and boy did she do a good job. Although there’s little resemblance between the two and the lookalike seems significantly older than Reese, we can guarantee you that from the back, you’d never notice.

Reese Witherspoon

Emilia Clarke

Mother of dragons, breaker of chains, and Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea had a double for a six-week stint when Game Of Thrones was filmed in Spain. The girl to your left is a model named Rosie Mac. Rumor has it, she didn’t even audition for the part. She said, “That same day I posted a selfie on Twitter, and I was wearing long, blonde hair. A while later I was asked by one of the agencies I’m signed with to send in my body measurements, but they didn’t tell me what for.” It turned out they wanted her to replace Daenerys.

Emilia Clarke

Johnny Depp

Pirate of the Carribean or not, it seems Johnny Depp isn’t as savage as we thought. We discovered recently that the award-winning actor isn’t a fan of doing his own stunts, claiming that he “prefers they pull in for the close-up and leave that jumping about to the professionals.” This might be because of an injury Johnny faced while filming Stranger Tides, which left him wabbling for weeks. Speaking of injuries, one of Depp’s most precious stunt doubles also endured a hit on the Pirates of the Carribean set, which reportedly scared the director and crew.

Johnny Depp

Evangeline Lilly

Ingrid Kleinig is on this list twice, and for good reason! These stunt feats might be even more impressive than those she performed pretending to be Harley Quinn. As Evangeline Lilly’s stunt double in The Hobbit, she’s playing another species entirely: an elf, and by the way, one who is especially strong, coordinated, and a bullseye with a bow and arrow within a race that is already genetically strong in all of these ways. What can’t Ingrid do, we wonder?

Evangeline Lilly

Shia Lebeouf

Although Shia Lebeouf does not appear to have any general boundaries, he still shied away from performing his own stunts on the popular film, Transformers. But Lebeouf wasn’t the only one getting impersonated on the set. Many other characters of the action-filled movie were replaced with stunt doubles, including Patrick Dempsey, Megan Fox, and even Mark Wahlberg. Investing in so many stunt performers is costly, so it’s lucky the production earned the title of the 13th highest-grossing film series.

Shia Lebeouf

Michael B. Jordan

Although he’s best known for (and best mates with) Michael B. Jordan and their work together, Aaron Toney is another jack-of-all-trades who has made his way around the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a stunt double, a swordmaster, and an assistant fight coordinator. Despite their work together as Killmonger, the pair were also together but separate on the set of Black Panther, where Toney served as stunt double to Chadwick Boseman instead. Could he have done the job for both actors? We think so!

Michael B. Jordan

Chris Evans

Sam Hargrave is more than just a stunt double for Chris Evans and more – he’s such a notable trainer that Men’s Health has popped into his training sessions to take notes on his self-developed workout program. Yes, he has one – and he made it so that he could add directing to his list of skills, which he excels at by being fit enough to keep up with fast-moving performances. “Physical fitness has always been a huge part of my life, and now even more so,” he says.

Chris Evans

Emma Watson

During the filming for Harry Potter, the beloved Hermione, played by Emma Watson, needed “a lot of doubles,” according to her fellow actors – 3 in total just for this movie – since she had so many commitments to her studies at Brown University. As her costar Rupert Grint later explained, “She was there for big days and really important scenes and stuff. But I don’t know how she did it, really. It’d be so weird to be in that school environment and then be on set. I couldn’t do it.”

Emma Watson

Kate Winslet

Much as we adore Kate Winslet and everything she does, we bet her Titanic stunt double Sarah Franzl lept at the opportunity to work alongside Leonardo DiCaprio even more so – maybe more than anything – although she certainly loves her job, having worked on stunts in Wonder Woman, Harry Potter, the Marvel Universe, as well as The Fast and the Furious. Performing stunts may sound difficult, but getting both their heads of hair to be the exact same shade of red? We’re still not sure how they pulled that one off.

Kate Winslet

Tom Hardy

Jacob Tomuri has gained fame as Tom Hardy’s stunt double, but before that the New Zealand native made a name for himself doing plenty of stunt work in the Lord of the Rings franchise and many other short TV episodes. Once he got around to working intimately with Hardy, he expanded his skills to more than just stunts. When the Legends franchise picked him up for a second film, they also hired him as an acting double – and he took it upon himself to perfect the Cockney accent for Hardy’s role.

Tom Hardy

Amy Schumer

Ask Amy Schumer, and she won’t pretend for even one second like she’s ever made a risky or physically challenging stunt on screen. When it came to flying off of a bicycle in I Feel Pretty or getting out of a gnarly kidnapping situation in Snatched, Meredith Richardson was the hardy body they called for the job. Her brave talents did not go unnoticed, and today she does plenty of work, both on and off set, for the Marvel Universe.

Amy Schumer

Krysten Ritter

Jessica Jones is an American web television series created especially for Netflix, by none other than the phenomenal Melissa Rosenberg. The show is based on the Marvel Comics character Jessica Jones, a former superhero who opens up her own detective agency. This photo proves that Jessica Jones is actually portrayed by two totally different actresses. While Krysten Ritter takes the reins on the acting, Dejay Roestenberg steps in to take care of the messy and dangerous scenes on the show.

Krysten Ritter

Dwayne Johnson

There’s no arguing the Rock is an irreplaceable legacy, but he is, however, clonable. The dude on the right is Dwayne’s go-to stuntman, Tanaoai Reed, who happens to be his first cousin. It’s usually good enough for a body double to resemble the actor from afar, but in the case of these two big dudes, they look alike up close too. With almost identical smiles, noses, jaws, and builds, you could even have them confused for non-identical twins.

Dwayne Johnson

Hugh Jackman

You’d be lying if you told us Hugh Jackman isn’t absolutely ripped as Wolverine but even with those shiny abs, he did need some assistance when it came to performing his own stunts. That’s where his brother-in-law and professional stuntman, Richard Bradshaw, came in. Bradshaw’s skills include automobile stunts, riding wires, and anything related to horses. Aside from stepping in as his brother-in-law’s double in films including Van Helsing and X-Men: Days of Future Past, Bradshaw has also played the double for Hollywood stars like Pierce Brosnan, Matthew McConaughey, Colin Firth, Ted Danson, Hugh Grant, and more…

Hugh Jackman

Lily Collins

Lily Collins is much more than the daughter of English musician Phil Collins. In fact, Lily has created quite a career for herself as an actress, model, and writer. Speaking of acting — the pictures below show Lily and her stunt double on the set of the 2013 film The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones. Being that it’s an action movie, it doesn’t come as much of a surprise that the breathtaking actress needed a double for the more intensive stunts.

Lily Collins

Harrison Ford

Here we have beloved actor Harrison Ford and his stuntman Vic Armstrong. Armstrong appeared as Ford’s double for the first three films of the Indiana Jones series. While Armstrong wasn’t able to return for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull due to a scheduling conflict, it’s clear that the two of them share a close bond. If you look closely, you can see that Ford left little notes for his pal on photos of the two of them. “Vic — if you learn to talk, I’m in deep trouble” and “We’ve got to stop meeting like this — best to a great stuntman.”

Harrison Ford

Anne Hathaway

Anna Hathaway is an award-winning actress best known for her performances in films like The Princess Diaries, Brokeback Mountain, The Devil Wears Prada, Love & Other Drugs, and The Dark Knight Rises among many other movies from various genres. While there’s no doubt that Hathaway is one of the most talented actresses in Hollywood, even she needs stunt doubles here and there. For the role of Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises, Hathaway had a stunt double who helped a lot in her combat and motorcycle scenes. See if you can guess who is who…

Anne Hathaway

Michael J. Fox

Actor Michael J. Fox was the star of the 1980s sci-fi classic trilogy Back to the Future. Although Fox’s character, Marty McFly runs into his past and future self throughout the trilogy, that’s not actually what’s happening in the photo. This picture is of Fox with his body doubles Keven Holloway and Robert Bennett. The guy on the far right is Charlie Croughwell, Fox’s stunt double. Croughwell played the role of Marty in parts of the film that required intensive stunt work like the skateboarding scenes. A little fun fact — Back to the Future happened to be Croughwell’s first stuntman gig…

Michael J. Fox

Chris Pratt

Chris Pratt may be funny and hunky but even this strongman needs a stuntman. That’s where Tony McFarr comes into play. McFarr started his career as a stunt double om the television series Bones back in 2011. Since Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, McFarr has actually been Chris Pratt’s regular stunt double, which isn’t so much of a shocker considering that the two look eerily similar. Together, they have worked on various projects including Passengers and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

Chris Pratt

Scarlett Johansson

Scarlett Johansson isn’t just envied for her undeniable talent but also because she happens to have one of Hollywood’s most sought-after stuntwomen — her name is Heidi Moneymaker. With 74 credited stunt roles under her belt thus far, it only makes sense that Moneymaker would perform all the big stunts for Johansson’s role as the Black Widow in the Avengers films. Aside from helping out the blonde bombshell, Moneymaker has also doubled for actresses including Julianne Moore, Drew Barrymore, and Ruby Rose.

Scarlett Johansson

Tom Cruise

Here we have award-winning actor Tom Cruise on the set of Knight and Day with his stuntman. We know — you’re seeing double. But although this guy was used in the film to perform certain dangerous stunts, Cruise is actually known for his efforts to perform his own stunts in movies. In fact, the whole motorcycle chase scene in the film was really Cruise racing through the streets. An accomplished rider in real life, Cruise thought of the stunt idea and immediately called the director to tell him that “we’ve gotta put a motorcycle in this scene and I’ve gotta flip her [Cameron Diaz] around this thing…”

Tom Cruise

Daniel Craig

Since taking over for Pierce Brosnan as the world’s most famous secret agent, British actor Daniel Craig has played James Bond five times now — Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Skyfall, Spectre, and No Time to Die. Considering the number of audacious and dangerous stunts there are in the James Bond franchise, it only makes sense that the filmmakers hired Jean-Charles Rousseau to be Craig’s stuntman. Rousseau is also known for his work on projects including Mission: Impossible – Fallout and Jason Bourne.

Daniel Craig

Mila Kunis

This may come as a surprise but Mila Kunis, a household favorite actress, actually used a body double while filming The Angriest Man in Brooklyn, a 2014 comedy-drama film starring the late and great Robin Williams as well as Peter Dinklage. In any event, Kunis needed a stuntwoman for some water-based scenes so they called upon Kachina Dechert — a London-born stuntwoman known for her work on Mission: Impossible – Fallout, American Hustle, and Gotham — who could most definitely pass for the actress.

Mila Kunis

Daniel Radcliffe

You guys didn’t think that Daniel Radcliffe performed all his own stunts in the Harry Potter films, did you? It turns out that former gymnast David Holmes was Radcliffe’s stunt double on every Harry Potter film. Although Holmes was involved in an accident on the set of Deathly Hallows that left him paralyzed from the waist down, he still felt like “it was an amazing experience. I loved it and Dan was an absolute pleasure to work with. The cast and crew were like a second family and I remain in touch with a lot of them to this day.”

Daniel Radcliffe

Robert De Niro

Meet Rick Avery, a stuntman known for his work in projects like Horrible Bosses and The Defiant Ones. Here, he’s the stunt double for the ever-so-talented Robert De Niro in Dirty Grandpa. Not only has Avery had years of experience as a stuntman but he’s also spent plenty of time with De Niro himself as this isn’t the first time he’s the actor’s stunt performer. In fact, he’s been De Niro’s stuntman in films including The Comeback Trail, The War With Grandpa, Joy, The Intern, Grudge Match, and Killing Season.

Robert De Niro

Ryan Gosling

Hollywood heartthrob Ryan Gosling indeed used a stunt double — Brett Praed — during his work on The Nice Guys. It turns out, though, that Gosling felt compelled to do as much stuntwork as he possibly could while shooting the film after he learned that Praed was actually recovering from an injury he sustained from Brad Pitt’s war movie Fury. In any event, here we have Gosling and his double showing off their matching khaki suits and button-down blue shirts.

Ryan Gosling

Lena Dunham

Sure — Lena Dunham, the creator-writer-star of the HBO series Girls, was quite fearless when it came to vulnerable or nude moments on camera. On the other hand, though, she’s wasn’t really keen about doing the slightly more terrifying stunts that the Girls script occasionally called for, which is where Dakota Bown came in. She was Dunham’s stunt double throughout the series run. The script called for Dunham’s character, Hannah, to fall from her boyfriend’s bicycle handlebars — Bown performed that stunt. In another episode, there was a car crash — Bown took care of that as well.

Lena Dunham

Gerard Butler

Here we have Scottish actor and film producer Gerard Butler with his stunt double on the set of 2011 thriller Machine Gun Preacher — an inspiring true story based on Sam Childers, an outlaw who undergoes a transformation only to save helpless children in the war-filled African country of Sudan. In this photo, you can see Butler preparing to shoot a motorcycle sequence with his stuntman. And let’s be real here, guys, we all had to do a quick double-take when we first looked at this photo…

Gerard Butler

Melissa McCarthy

There’s no doubt that Melissa McCarthy is a Hollywood favorite. After all, she makes people cry from laughter not to mention that she’s pretty fearless as she likes to attempt her own stunts. When things get a little complicated, though, McCarthy’s stunt double takes over. Her name is Luci Romberg and she’s worked with McCarthy on a ton of her movies like Ghostbusters, The Boss, and Identity Thief. Aside from being a stuntwoman, Romberg is also the co-owner of Tempest Freerunning, a parkour lifestyle brand that also operates multiple training facilities and is based in L.A.

Melissa McCarthy

Colin Firth

In the 2014 action-spy-comedy film Kingsman: The Secret Services, Colin Firth portrays a secret agent who’s able to throw down and fight with the greatest of ease. Still, the British star did need some assistance as this film “is far away from anything Colin has done before,” said Rick English — Firth’s stunt double who trained the actor for months. “Colin told us he’d done no sports and had no background whatsoever physically but obviously he’s an amazing actor, so he could memorize sequences quickly.”

Colin Firth

Rupert Grint

We can’t mention Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson without bringing up Rubert Grint, now can we? After the filming of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Grint hit a serious growth spurt and needed a stunt double whose height could keep up. By the time filming began for Prisoner of Azkaban, Anthony Knight was chosen as Grint’s new stunt double. Luckily, the two guys only have an inch of height difference between them, making the process a lot simpler for the directors.

Rupert Grint

January Jones

January Jones is an American model and actress best known for her work as Betty Draper in the hit AMC series Mad Men. Of course, Jones has also done quite a lot of film work. Speaking of, here we have Jones on the set of X-Men: First Class in Buckinghamshire, the United Kingdom back in September of 2010. And the lady who’s dressed exactly like Jones with identical knee-high boots and a hat? Well, that’s Jones’ stunt double, Belinda McGinley. McGinley is a stuntwoman also known for her work on Skyfall, Everest, and Kingsman: The Secret Service.

January Jones

Ryan Reynolds

Let’s be real here — no one can play the character of Deadpool better than the hunky Ryan Reynolds can. And while he used to do a great deal of his own stunts for these types of roles, Reynolds revealed that “I’ve had some bad injuries doing stunts. I broke a couple of vertebrae in my neck. It was a bad situation… So now I use four different guys that come with me” — two of which are named Alex Kyshkovych and Will Erichson.

Ryan Reynolds

Jennifer Lopez

While filming the hit NBC show, Shades of Blue, Jennifer Lopez got to spend some quality time with a lady who looks a lot like her, Vanessa Vander Pluym. Vanessa has played as a stunt double for over ten years and has appeared in several popular shows like Charmed and True Blood. The girls previously worked together on Lopez’s 2015 thriller, The Boy Next Door, and because of their great relationship, they intend to continue on this path.

Jennifer Lopez

Ben Affleck

45- year-old actor, Ben Affleck, uploaded this selfie with his lookalike, Rich Cetrone, while filming Triple Frontier In Hawaii. Affleck and Rich are sporting the same beard, hairstyle, and shirts, which makes them look even more alike. Cetrone is skilled in martial arts and has done stunts for the actor in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Suicide Squad, The Accountant, and Justice League. Below the picture, Affleck wrote, “Movie #5 with this legend – Rich Cetrone. Grateful to work with such incredible people. #stuntdouble.”

Ben Affleck

Will Smith

The 2016 drama film, Collateral Beauty, had some scenes that required stunt intervention by a man who eerily resembles Will Smith. The film focuses on a man who copes with his daughter’s death by writing letters to time, love, and death. Unfortunately, it received some negative critique, especially by the website Rotten Tomatoes, which stated, “Well-meaning but fundamentally flawed, Collateral Beauty aims for uplift but collapses in unintentional hilarity.” Despite this response and others alike, the film still grossed $31 million in the U.S. and $57.2 in Canada, accumulating to a worldwide total of $88.2 million!

Will Smith

Lena Headly

Cersei’s walk of atonement may have had you fooled because the naked woman walking through the streets of King’s Landing was actually stunt woman, Rebecca Van Cleave. Following the shooting of the scene, Cleave announced, “It was one of the scariest, most wonderful, most gratifying experiences I could have imagined,” Rebecca says. “I never in a million years would have thought I would be in Dubrovnik surrounded by hundreds of extras and crew members throwing food at me, but it was amazing.”

Lena Headly

Gal Gadot

Daring jumps and fight scenes can be a challenge, even for the almighty Wonder Woman, Gal Gadot. Because the Israeli actress was pregnant while filming the movie, directors brought in a daring body double, Alicia Vela-Bailey, to take care of the violent scenes. Although up close, the two wouldn’t pass for sisters, Alicia does a great job impersonating Gadot from the back. Wonder Woman wasn’t the only film where hard-core Alicia showed us her moves. She was also featured in Avatar, DivergentLights Out, and several popular TV shows.

Gal Gadot

Sacha Baron Cohen

Sacha Baron Cohen wasn’t the only guy sporting ridiculous costumes on the set of The Dictator. His lookalike not only wore the same crazy stuff, but he also performed some insane stunts on behalf of the actor. A political satire, The Dictator centers on the heroic story of a dictator who risks his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed. In the photo is Sacha and his double standing side by side, with identical outfits and working the same curly ‘fro.

Sacha Baron Cohen

Margot Robbie

Think Harley Quinn is dangerous? Try two of her! Ingrid Kleinig is the badass stuntwoman who stepped in for Margot Robbie in Suicide Squad and she is famed for her daring stunts and incredible physical abilities. Ingrid recalls her hardest stunt being on the set of Suicide Squad when she had to learn how to hold her breath underwater for five minutes. You can find her doing stunts on Mad Max: Fury Road, Ant-Man and the Wasp, and Justice League.

Margot Robbie

Robert Pattinson

Paul Darnell worked on the set of the Award Winning Twilight series as Robert Pattinson’s body double. The stunt artist continued to perform on Pattinson’s behalf, not only in the vampire franchise but also in Water for Elephants and Remember Me. Thanks to Darnell’s impeccable work, Robert won the award for the best fight at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards. There was, however, a slight mishap, when Robert forgot his double’s last name while thanking him live. Regardless, Darnell was honored to even be thought of for a shoutout.

Robert Pattinson

Andrew Garfield

Just like Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield made use of a stunt double when filming The Amazing Spider-Man. Known as William Spencer, Garfield’s stunt double is an accomplished actor, stuntman, filmmaker, and internationally renowned skateboarder. Spencer is a pro at using stunts, movement, and skateboarding to tell a story. He has also stunt-doubled for Project X, Jonah Hex, CSI: NY and The Kids Are Alright. Aside from doubling for big-time actors, William also directed and starred in a short film, Block Attack, which combines stunts, comedy, and 1980s video game nostalgia.

Andrew Garfield

Taylor Lautner

Taylor Lautner may appear as a vicious werewolf on the Twilight series, but on the Tracer film set, he was the guy who stood on the sidelines, while his body double did all the fight scenes. Taylor’s doppelgänger may share the same build, haircut, and facial hair as him, but he’s definitely a little tougher than the young actor. While Lautner’s body double endured brutal punches and getting slammed up against a car, Taylor enjoyed the scene and was even caught giggling during certain parts.

Taylor Lautner

Ian McKellen & His Two Stunt Doubles

That’s Sir Ian McKellen to you! Is having two stunt doubles a perk of having a formal British title? We’re not sure, but it was at least a necessity when it came to playing the role of Gandalf in Lord of the Rings. Basil Clapham performed as his riding double, and Big Paul Randall played a taller version of him that could emphasize the height difference between humans and hobbits. And fans of the franchise know just how important that was!

Ian McKellen & His Two Stunt Doubles

Keanu Reeves

Keanu Reeves is not new to action movies. So many of his movies involve some serious action, that we’re surprised many stunt doubles are down for round two when the next film rolls around. But Jackson Spidell is a known favorite (not to mention friend) of Keanu, and the crews that hire him. In praise of his artistic approach to fighting, one director complimented him by saying, “A fight scene can’t be just kill, kill, kill…You’re telling a story.” His talents even led him to work with Chuck Norris, who sent his best wishes to Spidell’s grandfather just before he passed away. Whether he’s falling into alleyways, slamming into walls, or plummeting through fire escapes, he’s a legendary stuntman.

Keanu Reeves

Bruce Willis

When Stuart Wilson stumbled his way onto a Bruce Willis set, it wasn’t long before the crew noticed him and smelled an opportunity. Today, he’s been Willis’ stunt double for 10 years, and “I’m the newest guy in his camp,” Wilson says. “and I’m thankful to be there.” But he’s also an accomplished stunt coordinator and fight choreographer – he didn’t want to limit himself to one skill. “If you pull off a stunt that’s really dangerous or really technical,” he said, “and it comes out right and everybody loves it, for 20 seconds you’re somebody. And then you go back to obscurity again.”

Bruce Willis

Jennifer Garner

Jennifer Garner’s stuntwoman, Shauna Duggins, is not only her co-worker but is also a close friend. The nearly identical duo has worked together for years, with Shauna doubling Garner on the TV series, Alias and films such as 13 Going On 30, Daredevil, Arthur, Antman, and Elektra. Duggins was the first stuntwoman ever nominated for an Outstanding Stunt Coordination Emmy and has become one of the stunt world’s biggest names, having doubled for numerous actresses such as Hayley Atwell, Charlize Theron, Chloe Sevigny, and Anne Hathaway.

Jennifer Garner

Dark of the Moon is the third installment of the live-action Transformers film series and one of the best we’ve seen yet. We weren’t surprised when we discovered that McDreamy couldn’t risk scarring his beautiful face while playing Dylan Gould, a wealthy car collector and Carly’s employer, who is secretly in cahoots with the Decepticons. For the hardcore scenes, the filming crew brought in a double who is a little shorter than Dempsey but got the stunt job done.
