Lily Collins Ties the Knot with Charlie McDowell in a Dreamy Colorado Wedding

Emily in Paris star, Lily Collins married her director boyfriend Charlie McDowell – and just like her series Emily in Paris, her wedding was every girl’s dream come true. They tied the knot over the weekend in the majestic but intimate surroundings of the Dunton Hot Springs in Colorado. Here are a few details of her weddings that we can decode from her Instagram pictures.

Lily’s Wedding Photos are to Die For

The beautiful bride took Instagram by storm when she decided to share glimpses of her dream-come-true wedding photos with her fans. The photos were captured by celebrity wedding photographers – Nate and Megan Kantor, famously known as Cedar & Pines.

The first photo showed the couple standing under a rustic wooden structure, kissing each other. Lily captioned the picture as -” I’ve never wanted to be someone’s someone more than I want to be yours, and now I get to be your wife. On 4 September 2021, we officially became each other forever. I love you beyond @charliemcdowell…’ The photo will make you want to find the love of your life and get married as soon as possible – because the couple makes love look beautiful.

In the second photo shared by Lily, we can see how spectacular her wedding gown really is – Emily’s fashion was looked up to by all the girls worldwide, and we have a feeling Lily lived up to her character’s fashion sense in real life with the marvelous Ralph Lauren wedding gown. She donned a beautiful bridal gown with lacework paired along with a sophisticated hooded cape in dainty lacework. Her husband donned a dapper black velvet suit and bow tie.

The third photo was something straight out of the fairytale – the duo is seen kissing with the rugged Colorado landscape and waterfall as a backdrop.

Family and Friends Congratulating the Couple

Apart from the photos shared by Lily – Charlie’s Mother shared the photo of the couple congratulating them. Even Jay Sheety, one of their closest friends who even officiated their wedding shared the couple’s photo congratulating them and thanking them for the honor.

A Look Inside Princess Beatrice’s Wedding

Princess Beatrice walked down the aisle with now-husband Edoardo Mozzi on Friday, July 17, 2020, in an intimate ceremony. Although it was a lowkey affair with only her closest friends and family in attendance, we are finally allowed to see inside Princess Beatrice’s wedding.

Princess Beatrice Wore The Queen’s Dress

Not only did Princess Beatrice’s tiara belong to The Queen – and was worn on her own wedding day – but she also repurposed her gown. The Queen first wore the dress back in 1962 to a London film premier. Beatrice merely had it remodeled to fit for the day.

It Had A Secret Garden Theme

The trailing flowers over the entrance to the chapel gave many of us a clue about the theme. A source later revealed that Princess Beatrice and Edoardo had chosen a secret garden theme to help bring their ceremony to life.

Mozzi’s Son Was The Best Man

Marrying Edoardo Mozzi means that Princess Beatrice is now officially a step-mom. It appeared as though the couple wanted to keep things in the family as their son, Wolfie, was invited to be the best man. Wolfie also stepped in as Beatrice’s page boy for the ceremony.

The Wedding Reception Was Filled With Fun

Reports state the couple had plenty of fun planned for their wedding reception held at the Royal Lodge. Apparently, Princess Beatrice’s wedding reception was held in a marquee filled with a dartboard, drinks, a jukebox, and couches. There were even supposedly glamping pods for guests to use for the night and a bouncy castle to add in a little fun.

It appeared as though no detail was missed, and no stone left unturned when it came to planning Princess Beatrice’s wedding. The young royal might not have had the day that she expected, but it seemed that everything was as perfect as possible.
