Planning a wedding can see the best of us turn into a flustered mess as there is so much to consider. Being a guest means that we usually get to sit back and enjoy the hard work, right? One woman was invited to her friend’s wedding and thought nothing more of the invite. She continued to enjoy the ceremony and started to mingle with the other guests as they waited to get called for their food.

Suddenly, the chief bridesmaid approached - and she didn’t look happy. It turned out the woman was only supposed to be invited for the evening. The bride had accidentally invited her to the entire day. The bridesmaid wanted her to leave and return to the party after everyone had eaten.

As if that wasn’t enough, the guest said that the entire wedding party looked down from the balcony at the guest. She was embarrassed but decided to stay until everyone took their seats. Sadly, they didn’t have much of a choice as the guest was pushed to one side by the ushers as people found their places.

The guest and her date for the evening had enough of it all. She decided that she wasn’t heading back to the wedding and took the money that she was supposed to hand over as a gift to spend on a night on the town instead.
